For professionals

Are you active in the field of contemporary circus, performing arts, or cultural production and planning to visit the Cirkopolis festival?

While Cirkopolis is primarily a public event, it also serves as a platform for meetings and exchange among cultural professionals — including programmers, producers, journalists, artists, and others working in the performing arts.

If you're interested in attending as a professional, please get in touch at cirkopolis@cirqueon.cz. We’ll be happy to offer discounted tickets and access to selected industry events.

Cirkopolis Professional Day – 11 February

11 February 2026

The Cirkopolis Festival, in collaboration with the Czech Contemporary Circus Association, is organising a meeting dedicated to current information and opportunities for artists and cultural professionals working in both the independent and public sectors.

During the information block, you will learn about new opportunities offered by the newly merged National Institute for Culture (formerly IDU and NIPOS), changes in the Ministry of Culture’s Stipend Programme and the launch of the National Artists’ Registry, as well as insights from Nová síť on supporting touring outside major cities.

The event is intended for artists, dramaturgs, organisers, and professionals working in cultural organisations. While the focus is on contemporary circus, participants from the broader performing arts field are very welcome.
