ONDŘEJ HOLBA (CZ) — And Who Is Useless Now?

About the performance

Renewed premiere of an original theatre performance about a human, four robots, one slightly elitist artificial intelligence, and the handing over of responsibility to technology.

While the AI Wendy tries to use art as a way to be accepted by humans as a thinking being, Florent — who shares the stage with her — begins to doubt his own human mind. How much freedom and humanity are we willing to sacrifice for comfort?

The performance draws inspiration from the ideas of Alan Turing, who laid the foundations of modern computer science, and Marvin Minsky, a pioneer of machine intelligence. Both believed that the human mind is nothing more than a very complex machine.
