Viktor Černický (CZ) — Pneu

About the performance
Four bodies and hundreds of kilograms of tires interlock in a physically demanding performance that explores the fragile relationships between people and their environment. The unpredictable pile of tyres that dominates the set and determines human behaviour is gradually transformed into a living and dynamic architecture. PNEU is a performance where rules unexpectedly disappear and reappear, chaos becomes structure and imbalance becomes a driving force.
Viktor Černický comes up with a performance that balances on the edge of contemporary circus, dance and visual art. It is a scenic essay about effort, exhaustion and renewal of strength, about physical and mental endurance. About the desire not to lose lightness even when everything is falling apart. A place where disorder becomes a breeding ground for the search for new meaning.
